Are you fired up to start a Listening Campaign in your place of worship? Did you attend the February 28th Grassroots Faith workshop? Or were you iced out of coming that day, and want to get caught up? This workshop is for you!
This workshop is for faith leaders (both clergy and laypeople) who want to see their religious community join Faith in Texas, a new multi-racial movement for social justice in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
We encourage you to attend with a team of 8-30 people from your church, parish, or religious community. If you participated in the February 28th Grassroots Faith workshop, we encourage you to have several one-on-one visits before March 21st. Come prepared to share what you've heard so far, so that we can "hear the groans" of our people across race, ethnic, and class lines. We'll also go deeper in learning the craft of meaningful one-on-one visits.
This workshop is also open to those who could not attend on February 28th. We'll have a special catch-up track for those who missed the first Grassroots Faith training. Please contact Dr. Lydia Bean, Lead Organizer of Faith in Texas, with your questions on how to prepare: firstname.lastname@example.org.
