Solidarity Among Faith Communities

Standing in solidarity with others is at the center of the work of Faith in Texas. Faith communities across the DFW metroplex have come together to be a voice for those who wouldn't otherwise have a voice. We stand in solidarity with one another and with those in need under the conviction that there is strength and power in diversity.

Together we cannot be defeated.

On Tuesday, November 29th, Faith in Texas hosted a press conference promoting unity in Dallas and beyond with it's multi-faith, multi-racial clergy, volunteers and organizers on hand to answer questions about organizing for meaningful unity.

Organizing impacts policy.

We know love cannot be legislated. However, the tradition of organizing teaches us that policy changes increase the ability of communities facing injustices to literally live long enough to do the sacred work of healing and changing hearts and minds. The Faith in Texas Policy Summit is Saturday, December 3rd.
