Get Deputized to Register Voters in Dallas County

  • Temple Emanu-El 8500 Hillcrest Rd Dallas TX 75225 (map)

Become a Deputy Voter Registrar today! It takes one hour. If you're eligible to vote, then you can be a deputy voter registrar. Normally, one has to go to the Dallas County Elections Office during business hours to get deputized to register voters. But on August 11th, you can get deputized after work hours, with a fun group of community leaders from many different organizations!

Esmeralda Garcia (Dallas Country Elections Office) will be present to deputize you at Temple Emanu-El. This event is free and open to the public. Please invite everyone you know who wants to help register voters! But please ask everyone to RSVP here so we have enough materials.

If you wish to register voters in Tarrant, Collin, or Denton County, contact your local Elections Office to get deputized during their office hours. You may also be able to arrange your OWN community training in your home county like this one, if you can pull together a group of 50 people. Contact your local Elections Office to inquire. Note: You can be deputized to register voters in more than one county, not just the county that you live in! But you must get deputized in EACH county separately.
